ONE headlight restoration job and this kit will pay for itself!
Are you a detailer that's looking to offer a complete headlight restoration package for your customers? Look no further than the McKee's 37 Professional Headlight Restoration System! This money-saving kit includes EVERYTHING you need to restore dull, faded headlights to like-new condition. Best of all, it contains McKee's 37 Headlight Coating, a 3 year protective shield that helps resist future oxidation and yellowing. All you need is a drill (we supplied the backing plate!) and you'll be in business.
Headlights are supposed to shine bright so you have a clear view of the road at night. If you drive a vehicle that was manufactured in the last 30 years, it most likely has headlight lenses that are constructed out of polycarbonate plastic. Polycarbonate plastic, while extremely durable and resilient against abrasion and impact, has poor resistance to UV rays, causing it to yellow and fade overtime, reducing visibility at night. McKee's 37 All In One Headlight Restoring Polish gently polishes away the dull, faded layer of plastic to restore optical clarity so you can see clearly!
Protect the newfound clear headlights with McKee's 37 Headlight Coating. This nano-glass ceramic coating will prevent the headlights from fading for up to 3 years!
The McKee's 37 Professional Headlight Restoration System includes:
McKee's 37 All In One Headlight Restoring Polish, 8 oz.
McKee's 37 All In One Headlight Restoring Polish is a one-step cleaner, compound and polish for plastic headlight lenses. Formulated using an advanced blend of micro and diminishing abrasives, McKee's 37 All In One Headlight Restoring Polish makes multi-step headlight polishing systems obsolete. In one simple step you'll be able to restore yellowed, dull, faded plastic headlight lenses to like-new condition, increasing nighttime visibility and reducing glare.
McKee's 37 Ceramic Headlight Coating, 4 oz.
McKee's 37 Ceramic Headlight Coating is a nano-glass ceramic coating designed specifically for polycarbonate headlight and taillight lenses. This high-solids formula adds an extra film of clear coat over new or restored headlight lenses, leaving them crystal clear and well-protected for up to 3 years. Designed to prevent UV-induced fading and discoloring, applying McKee's 37 Ceramic Headlight Coating to a brand-new vehicle will save you hundreds, if not thousands of dollars, over the course of ownership of the vehicle by preventing costly headlights from deteriorating.

What got my attention was the little cleaning wheels that can attach to any drill. I always though a smaller polisher would be needed, now. The cars I used them on , the headlights weren’t bad to begin with, but did clean up nice.
Used this kit on some badly oxidized headlights. I did wet sand prior to using the polish. But it was a quick and easy process. Then I applied the coating which went on smoothly and the headlights look like new. Fantastic results that anyone can do.
I was curious about this Mckee's 37 Professional Headlight Kit so I purchased it and give it a try. Now I've used the old 1500-3000 wet sanding method and used metal polish in the past on worn out, yellowish and clouded headlights it works and comes out clear but after few months later the cloudy and yellow would come back and would look horrible. So with the McKee's 37 Professional Headlight Restoration kit is basically the same process but without using sand paper. The main ingredient is the ceramic headlight coating that keeps the headlight protected for a long time after they had been polish out using the included polish wool disc and headlight polish. The coating will seal the headlight and protect it from the harmful UV sun and any weather elements to eats up the clear plastic face of the headlight. I used this kit on my 2006 Ford Explorer it comes out clear but not perfect it has small spider cracks in it but that is from an original headlight that was never restored on a 16 year old vehicle. Newer cars would benefit better with this kit the earlier you treat and protect the headlights the better it is on the long term.
The headlight restoration kit provided me with everything I needed to do the job, with the exception of tape to mask the headlights. No problem, as I always have painter's tape on hand. After masking the painted areas, I put the restoration solution on the provided wool pad, and used my drill to clean the headlights. The difference in before and after was amazing. After wiping off the residue, I applied the UV protectant, which only took a couple of minutes. Once it got dark, I took the car out and drove down some unlit roads. The difference was more than I expected. The headlights now clearly light up the road. I can see much better than before.
I should have done this long before. I didn't realize how bad the headlights were, since they get a little worse over time. Hopefully this will last for 3 years, at which time I'll do it again.
This is a great product. I've used others before, and spent hours going through different grits of sandpaper and cleaning between steps. I highly recommend McKee's. I'll never use another headlight restoration product.
