Grime gets between spokes and in lug nut holes, your wheel cleaner should be able to as well!
When you use McKee's 37 Foaming Wheel Cleaner Gel, you can be confident that it will safely and effectively clean all types of wheels. It works so well that it changes color as it dissolves brake dust!
Wheel cleaners face tough challenges. Brake dust contains an adhesive that is used to make brake pads, and this adhesive makes the tiny metal shavings stick to the wheels. Most wheel cleaners attempt to eat through the brake dust with harmful solvents like Ethylene Glycol Monobutyl Ether. The problem is that these harsh solvents will slowly erode finishes on coated and painted wheels, resulting in a dull, pitted metal surface.
McKee's 37 Foaming Wheel Cleaner Gel is a VOC compliant and safe on wheels. McKee's 37 Foaming Wheel Cleaner Gel relies on environmentally friendly advanced surfactants to remove contaminants from the wheel without harming the coating. Overspray from this clear coat safe product is harmless.
Though McKee's 37 Foaming Wheel Cleaner Gel is designed with the safety of you and your vehicle in mind, it is still a powerful wheel cleaner. The advanced surfactants release the baked-on dirt and brake dust that coat your wheels without affecting the wheels finish. Your wheels will be left cleaner and shinier than they ever have been, because Foaming Wheel Cleaner Gel removes embedded brake dust particles.
McKee's 37 Foaming Wheel Cleaner Gel is packaged in a spray bottle to allow easy application on every surface of the wheel, even between spokes and in lug nut holes. Contamination gets into these places; your wheel cleaner should be able to as well! Gentle agitation is all it takes to loosen stubborn grime. Then rinse it away! The thick gel formula ensures this powerful cleaner stays exactly where you spray it.
McKee's 37 Foaming Wheel Cleaner Gel is safe on all types of wheels; including factory coated, painted, and anodized wheels.
McKee's 37 Foaming Wheel Cleaner Gel is a great value for professional and do-it-yourself detailers. The surfactant cleaner will spare you the expense of refinishing or replacing your wheels due to corrosion caused by aggressive cleaners, and it works well on a variety of surfaces. Fast-acting surfactants in a powerful formula make McKee's 37 Foaming Wheel Cleaner Gel the effective, economical, and safe choice to achieve clean, shiny wheels.
Spray wheel with water to remove any loose contamination.
Spray entire surface with McKee's 37 Foaming Wheel Cleaner Gel.
Agitate the wheel with an EZ Detail Brush. Use the Premium Detail Brush on the delicate wheel surface to prevent scratches.
Rinse wheel and tire with a strong jet of water. Do not allow the cleaner to dry on the wheel.
For best results, towel dry the wheel to prevent water spots. Work on one wheel at a time until you've cleaned all for wheels.
Here's a tip for wheels that feel gritty or bumpy: clay them! The wheel surface can accumulate embedded contaminants, just like the paint. Clay is a safe and easy way to pull these particles out of the wheel to restore a smooth shine. Use clay with a lubricant on coated, painted, chrome, and roughcast aluminum wheels.

I’ve used a lot of different wheel cleaners over the years. Most of the “top end” products. McKee’s is by far the best. It removed stains on wheels that I assumed were never going to come off. I had tried two or three of the higher priced wheel cleaners on these spots already. First time I used this product stains were gone. I cleaned the barrels on some 20+ year old wheels that had literally never been cleaned in two applications. McKee’s is a little more expensive than they were a few years ago but definitely the best bang for your buck.
I buy this by the 5 gallon option they have. Works amazing on rims. A lot of my monthly accounts vehicles I can spray this on let sit and blast the rim clean with pressure washer. Definitely try if you haven't
