The Porter Cable 7424xp has a reputation in the detailing industry as being a solid, reliable performer that is powerful enough to remove swirl marks and scratches, yet easy enough to master for a beginner.  The Porter Cable 7424xp is a dual action (random orbital) polisher.  The Porter Cable 7424xp features an ergonomic design that maximizes comfort, along with a variable speed dial that adjusts the speed from 2,500 OPM to 6,800 OPM. This makes the Porter Cable 7424xp versatile enough to apply coats of wax, and powerful enough to remove paint defects such as swirl marks, oxidation, and scratches. The Porter Cable 7424xp includes a wrench, polishing pad, side handle, and owner's manual.
