The twice a year leather protectant!
McKee's 37 SiO2 Leather Guard is the ultimate protectant for leather trim. This high-tech coating blankets your vehicle's leather upholstery in a durable shell of protection that resists abrasion. Powerful UV50 light absorbers prevent fading, cracking, and long-term discoloration. SiO2 Leather Guard only needs to be applied twice a year, making it a fantastic choice for a daily driver. Use on leather seats, door trim, arm rests, dashboards, and hard smooth surfaces. Imparts a clean, OEM-matte finish that feels smooth to the touch. Prevents dye-transfer from blue jeans, and also protects against damage caused by sunscreen. Works equally well on leather handbags, leather shoes, and leather furniture.
Benefits of McKee's 37 SiO2 Leather Guard:
McKee's 37 SiO2 Leather Guard is not a leather conditioner - it's a high-tech coating that not only outlasts a traditional leather conditioner or protectant, it provides superior protection as well. SiO2 Leather Guard blankets leather upholstery with a crystal clear, durable shell of ceramic protection that protects against dye transfer from blue jeans, abrasion, food spills, suntan lotion, grease, and oily grime. Dirty leather will wipe clean using a dampened microfiber towel. SiO2 Leather Guard is formulated and approved for VEGAN leather as well.
Leather upholstery is the single most expensive option in most new vehicles. What costs you thousands of dollars is often neglected during ownership of the vehicle. Applying McKee's 37 SiO2 Leather Guard twice a year is a low-cost investment to keep your vehicle's leather upholstery looking and feeling new for the life of the vehicle.
Directions:
Thoroughly clean leather using McKee's 37 Leather Shampoo 70/30. Apply SiO2 Leather Guard directly onto a foam applicator pad. Work SiO2 Leather Guard into the surface using a circular, overlapping motion. Apply more as needed. Remove excess by gently buffing with a clean, dry microfiber towel. Do not apply to suede.

Really have to thank Nick, first order the contents of the bottle emptied during shipping. Contacted Nick & he had a replacement shipped right out. As for the leather guard, a little goes a long way & makes the leather look new. Great contact & customer service. Thanks again Nick!
This is my first time trying this product. I have used the conditioner. This is much different to the conditioner. I used much less product than the conditioner. It does not seem to soak in but instead produces a layer of protection on the leather seats. It dries on the surface quickly. It produces a semi gloss finish. I really like the product so far. If your leather needs nourishment then use the conditioner. If your car sit outside in the sun I would use the leather guard.
Used this on my 98 Mitsubishi Eclipse GST front leather seats. Works well on plastic vinyl such as your interior door panels, dash board, rear quarter panels, pillar trim, floor consoles and anything plastic. In the photos and video upload I have here a floor console I’m restoring to like new condition for a 07-08 Hyundai Tiburon GT and SE trim 5spd or 6spd manual transmission. The McKee’s 37 SiO2 Ceramic Leather Guard used on this brought the color to its full richness. It doesn’t make it too glossy or too dull just the right OEM sheen that you expect when you first buy these cars new off the dealer ship lot. I will stick to McKee’s 37 as my go to detailing products whether it’s for exterior or interior purposes.
This product does a great job, easy to use, and goes a long way. Just needed another bottle after using it on all our cars and even a friend's Mercedes GLS.
Excellent, just follow directions. It deepens the color and you can feel the protection.
